Ms. Lamorena has been teaching at St. Hilary for three years. Ms. Lamorena teaches General Music (Pk-8), Band, Choir, Ukulele Club. Since joining the St. Hilary team in 2014, Ms. Lamorena has created new performance opportunities for students including CODAs, Joyful Noise, Ukulele Club, and the Bucket Drum Ensemble. She has taken students to the VanderCook College of Music Middle Level HonorFest and around the community to share St. Hilary students' musical gifts.

Prior to St. Hilary, Ms. Lamorena graduated with her Bachelor's of Music Education (BME) from Illinois Wesleyan University. At IWU, Ms. L. was member of IWU Wind Ensemble, Civic Orchestra, Jazz Ensemble, Brass Quintet, Titan Band, and Touch of Class Acapella. Ms. Lamorena's primary instrument is trumpet, but she frequently plays piano and ukulele in music class. In addition, she considers vocal percussion and voice as secondary instruments.

When she is not teaching, Ms. Lamorena is a freelance trumpet player. She has played many weddings, funerals, and musicals all over the Midwest. Ms. L. enjoys crafts and fine art and can be frequently found in Mrs. Rhode's classroom learning and working with the students. Ms. Lamorena is a big fan of playing and watching sports. She loves the San Francisco Giants and supports many other Chicagoland teams. She also follows track and field, as well as soccer. Ms. Lamorena's other hobbies include cooking and collecting autographs. Some of her favorite free autographs she has acquired are Jonathan Toews, Scottie Pippen, and Lin-Manuel Miranda.

Ms. Lamorena is a member of the Illinois Music Educators Association, the National Association for Music Education, and Sigma Alpha Iota – International Music Fraternity.

Ms. Lamorena was the 2017 recipient of the Archdiocese of Chicago's Heart of the School, Heart of Enrichment Award and St. Hilary School's Excellence in Teaching Award.
